ISLA CONTOY

ISLA MUJERES
What: Larger developed island getaway.
Time frame: Half day to full day adventure
Transportation: 20 minute boat from Cancun docks.
Cost: Inexpensive.
Carlos's Comments: A fun place to snorkel, shop, eat and sample margaritas.

PLAYA DEL CARMEN
What: Funky beach town getaway.
Time frame: Half day or all day.
Transportation: 45 minutes by car, tour van or taxi.
Cost: Inexpensive.
Carlos' Comments: The white sand and clear water hear are nothing short of spectacular! Take a dip!

COZUMEL
What: Serious island getaway.
Time frame: Full day or overnight excursion.
Transportation: Drive to Playa del Carmen, 30 minute ferry across channel.
Cost: Inexpensive.
Carlos' Comments: Rent a Jeep, loop the island and grab lunch at one of the fun beachside restaurant!

TULUM
What: Beachside Mayan ruins.
Time frame: Half day or full day adventure.
Transportation: One hours drive south of Cancun.
Cost: Inexpensive.
Carlos' Comments: Spend a few bucks and hire a tour guide to explain what you are seeing. Awesome!
